Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Goowi is built to be private by default. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.

The short version: nothing you log in Goowi ever leaves your phone. There's no account, no cloud sync, and no server that could see your data — because Goowi doesn't have one.

What we don't collect

We do not collect, receive, or have access to any of the following, ever:

What's stored on your device

Everything you log — dates, satisfaction ratings, notes, the toy field, and so on — is stored in a local database on your phone only. It is never transmitted anywhere. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. You can also erase everything yourself at any time from Settings → Delete all records.

App Lock

If you turn on App Lock, Goowi asks your device's own Face ID / passcode system to confirm it's you before opening the app. Your biometric data is handled entirely by iOS itself — Goowi never sees, stores, or has access to it.

Discreet Mode

Discreet Mode changes the words the app shows on screen (for example, "records" becomes "entries") and hides more sensitive fields from view. It's a local display setting only — it doesn't send anything anywhere.

Goowi Bonus (in-app purchase)

Goowi Bonus is a one-time purchase that unlocks an in-app report and collectible badges, both of which are computed entirely from the data already on your phone. The purchase itself is handled completely by Apple's App Store — your payment details go to Apple, never to us. We only receive confirmation from Apple that the purchase happened, so we can unlock the feature on your device.
