uzucode (the “Operator”) operates Morny, a service for exchanging recorded voices as morning calls with someone you care about. This policy explains the information Morny processes, how it is shared, and how it is deleted. It takes effect when published.

Account and service information

Morny starts with an anonymous account without requiring an email address or password. We process a user identifier and authentication information to restore your account and maintain your partner connection. An anonymous account still has service records associated with its identifier.

We process the following information to provide the service:

We use this information to maintain accounts, connect partners, deliver audio, prepare alarms, display history, investigate errors, and provide support. We do not analyze recordings for speaker identification or biometric authentication, sell personal information, or use it for personalized advertising.

Microphone, alarm and notification permissions

Microphone access is used to record morning calls. Alarm permission is used to schedule device alarms. Notification permission is used for arrival, acceptance and other updates. You can open the app to check received calls even with notifications disabled.

You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. Recordings are uploaded when you send a morning call. Preparing an alarm downloads its audio to the recipient’s device in advance.

Information shared with your partner

Someone who enters an invite code can see the inviter’s nickname and the invitation’s expiry before connecting. A connection requires explicit approval.

Your connected partner can see your nickname, time zone and certain alarm preferences, along with the recordings, titles, scheduled times, statuses and related history exchanged between you. Avoid including information in a recording or title that you do not want to share with your partner.

Disconnection and deletion are different. Disconnecting hides shared history and audio in the app. Reconnecting with the same accounts may restore access to previous history. Cancelled alarms are not automatically rescheduled.
